In School
We are thrilled to partner with a number of schools across the UK, providing each with tailored teaching services depending on each schools requirements.
All of our teachers hold Music or Performance Degrees from the top Conservatoires and Music Performing Schools in the UK and internationally.
At the end of the academic year, all students will be notified when registration for our Peripatetic music tuition, ensembles and orchestras opens for the following year. If you are new to us, your child will be expertly matched with one of our teachers based on their instrument, interests and goals.
For lessons during school hours, our teachers will collect our juniors from class, and our seniors will make their own way to our lessons. Depending on your school’s room availability, we may also offer lessons after school hours. Please Find Your School to see what they have to offer.
All lessons are scheduled at different times every week to ensure that our students are not missing the same class every week.
Which instrument is right for my child?
We offer a range of instruments including: singing, piano, guitar, violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, trumpet, drums and many more.
All students must own their own instrument to ensure they can practice at home between lessons. Instruments can be hired on a termly or yearly basis from Your Music Department or our trusted retailers.
Piano
Our most popular instrument across every school, we recommend beginning piano from Year 1 to ensure the muscles in their hands have developed enough to play and practice.
Singing
We can start our students at Reception age, and we take into account their vocal development, ensuring that care is taken when navigating their lessons during this time of that their vocal chords are stretching and growing.
Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass
Students can learn the violin from Reception, and as their hands grow look at the larger instruments. There is a lot of fundamental ear training that occurs during these lessons.
Drums
We recommend students from Year 2 begin their learning on the drums. All that is needed at the beginning are sticks and a practice pad, and when their teacher advises they would benefit from a drum kit, there are many electric drum options that have headphones included!
After School
We understand that you may prefer that your child learns after school hours. Each school offers differing hours and spaces for our music classes and depending on the services we provide, there may be an After School option.
These lessons are at fixed times through the late afternoon to early evening, with the earliest slots prioritised to the youngest students.
Find your school below to see if we offer After School options.
Our partners Workbox Music, also offer lessons at your home or our teacher’s home. Please get in touch via their online enquiry form to be matched with one of their teachers.
